Cycle de trois films en hommage à Sébastien Koeppel, cinématographe
1 - Cochihza
Programmed and presented by Orlan Roy
Khristine Gillard’s film is set on Ometepe, the island-volcano in Nicaragua. A landscape like a sleeping body. Every human being is born into a rhythm that is unique to him, and which he keeps for the rest of his life. The story of a world unfolds as we meet the community of the volcano. Cochihza opens a cycle of 3 Belgian films by the founders of Labo Bxl: Phénix by Catherine Libert (opening) and L’OEil du Cyclope by Jen Debauche (competition program 4).
In tribute to Sébastien Koeppel, cinematographer.
