I’m At The Back

In 2013, three years before his prison experience, the Tunisian video artist Fakhri El Ghézal, equipped with his cell phone, began an odyssey punctuated by the trivialities of everyday life. From Sousse to Tunis, through Hammamet, he films in this diary the wandering and solitude, sometimes happy and sometimes cursed. His journey is marked by long roads, hazardous encounters, reunions with family and friends … Always on the move but never arriving anywhere, El Ghézal tells his life, between the lightness of moments of euphoria and plenitude and those of melancholy, death and grief.
