Dermographism could be another name for film or skin, but it is actually a medical term referring to abnormal behaviour of histamine particles. These accumulate beneath the skin, causing itching and outbreaks of hives that follow the unsuspected lines of unnoticed scratches, insignificant scrapes or blows. Skin Writing is an attempt to understand these glyphs that rush to the surface of the skin to project images onto my skin, from the inside out.
