The story of James Howells

Inspired by true events, this video tells the story of a Welsh computer engineer who, twelve years ago, accidentally threw away a hard drive containing the private key to 8,000 Bitcoins (worth nearly a billion dollars today). Ever since, he has been trying by every possible means to recover it. The video takes the form of a wandering journey through Newport, moving between the depths of a landfill and those of the internet, where thoughts and trash overlap.
