Synopsis
“I wanted to capture the glare of light at certain times of the day, as well as the brilliance and intensity of objects, bodies and landscapes - in other words, the essence of their color. Filters highlight the dominant yellow, red and blue hues around which the images condense. I also wanted to record and reproduce the movements of exploration, research, pleasure and desire. The camera traced the uninterrupted path of this gaze, editing directly as I shot. I also wanted to sketch out spaces and atmospheres with “after” eyes, as if observing memory in the making. The gaze selected what would have been the memory.”
