This film reflects on the global loss of quiet as light and noise pollution alter the texture of land and sky. Listening is proposed as a collective practice—an attempt to locate what remains audible within vanishing silences. Through this attention, the work imagines a sonic commons, one that might allow us to hear what our cities have drowned out.
