Synopsis
A lot of attention has been paid to the film with a black image, without really specifying whether it was really a film or a radio programme, whether there was sound on this black image (and what type of sound?), whether there were no images other than this black image, and so on. To cut through all these pretensions, Maurice Lemaître presents here a film with a completely black image, from start to finish, and with no sound whatsoever, from the credits to the final word. This amusing ‘found footage’ is adorned with two Lettrist poems, one of which is a ‘triolet pour Micheline que je déteste’ (‘triplet for Micheline whom I hate’). E. L.
