Synopsis
The Colombian region of Chocó is an isolated area between the sea and the forest where religious missions, military operations, tourism projects, and all kinds of trafficking intersect, ignore each other, and follow one another. Without judgment or narrative intent, Tropic Pocket subtly captures images that bear witness to and justify these actions, stripping them of their argumentative force in the process. The viewer will decide, among these layers of reality and mystification, which images are the most deceitful.
