Synopsis
This video project aims to give artificial intelligence the power to metamorphose bodies through a videographic and iconographic study of gender and sexuality. From the revival of monochrome portraiture to images inspired by modern pornographic films, from the updating of typical Renaissance pictorial tropes to anatomical and medical imagery, the visuals follow one another, freely displaying their intimacy. New genital forms emerge, while the individuals depicted seem constantly to transition, fluidly exploring the spectrum of bodily identities. AI allows us to vary the representations we may have of transition paths, and of the diversity of the trans body. The trashy eroticism of certain visuals, seeks to develop an effect of no-shaming of lifestyles and corporality categorized as marginal. The deviants, the dangerous, the freaks, the fairies take center stage.
