Synopsis
Two girls in a Western desert. One kills the other, one loves the other. This film is a journey: across the desert, through mourning, love and hate, through proletarian American literature (embodied by the figure of Dorothy Allison), through the building of a friendship, through a present: the autumn of 2024. This film is an exploration of what Varda called, annoyed in the course of an interview, ‘a cinema of memories’.
