Fragments untitled #6 reproduces media footage of the event. The film is part of the ongoing series of works Fragments untitled, through which Doplgenger investigates the politics of media images that participated in the creation of historical narratives of Yugoslavia in the 1980s-2000s, in particular the media images that served as a pretext for the Yugoslav wars and the break-up of Yugoslavia. Fragments untitled is based on the private archives of citizens who recorded television programmes in the 1990s. These are images that are also contemporary.
