Cerbère

A combination of three portraits from an ongoing series, this character study features a protagonist we will call PHEDRO. Blending fictional and auto/biographical monologues, it draws on the lived experiences of queer and non-affiliated individuals. Its central focus is male corporeality and self-objectification. Models converse with no one and everyone, facing the camera, naked, as if looking at themselves in a mirror, yet immersed in darkness, filmed with a faulty night-vision camera that produces these entirely unretouched violet-purple hues.
